Who this policy applies to
This policy is issued by Digitize (Pty) Ltd, operating from Johannesburg, South Africa ("Digitize", "we", "us"), and explains how we handle personal information under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Information we collect
We collect the details you submit through our contact forms, AI Business Audit and client portal — such as your name, business name, phone number and the answers you provide about your business.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to enquiries, generate your Business Health Score and roadmap, deliver agreed services, and improve our platform. We do not sell your data.
Storage and security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with access limited to authorised Digitize team members. Client portal access is protected by authentication and role-based permissions.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not currently set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We use browser local storage (not a cookie) to save your progress in the AI Business Audit on your own device. See our Cookie Policy for full details, including what happens if that changes.
Third parties
We use Supabase for secure hosting and database infrastructure, and a third-party AI service provider to power the AI Business Audit and chatbot. These providers process data only on our instruction and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Your rights
Under POPIA, you may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we process it. Contact us via email, WhatsApp or phone and we will respond promptly, usually within a few business days.

Complaints to the Information Regulator
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can also lodge a complaint with South Africa's Information Regulator — enquiries@inforegulator.org.za, 0800 017 160 (toll-free) or 010 023 5200, inforegulator.org.za.
